Private Cremation
Private Cremation
Private Cremation is for those wishing to receive their pet's ashes back. Each pet is cremated to ensure that the owner will receive only their pet's ashes back. The pet has an ID tag that remains with them through the process. Your pet is gently placed in the cremation chamber. Following the cremation, the cremated remains are removed from the cremation chamber, processed, and placed in a plastic bag. The plastic bag is then placed in a complimentary wood urn with the pet's name permanently engraved onto the lid.
The wooden pet urn is included to this service, with 4 sizes available. Additional urns are priced at $40.
Group Cremation
Group Cremation
Group Cremation is for those who do not want to receive their pet's ashes back. Because more than one pet is crematated at a time, this is a more cost-effective option. The ashes from the group creamations are spread around our gardens and the hillsides of the Lake Ashtabula area.
We take a paw print of every pet that we process for cremation. All pets paw prints are stored electronically and are available for engraving purposes on all of our memorial items which can be viewed in our store front in Valley City.

Every pet that gets processed at Companion Animal Cremation gets its paw print taken and stored for engraving purposes on one or more of the many products that are available to see at our studio in Valley City, North Dakota.
We meticulously groom and prepare every pet’s paw before taking a painted/ink paw print.
